2024 EDUCATION THEMES

Advocacy/DEI

Explore how equity, diversity, including neurodiversity, and inclusion encourage, lift, and support the many diverse voices across the gaming industry and improve experiences for customers and employees alike, in this theme. Sessions will also cover advocacy issues that aim to protect various employee and customer groups within the gaming industry (i.e. no smoking in casinos, or human trafficking).

Future of Gaming

This theme focuses on the industry’s continued transformation, navigating headwinds, and what the path ahead looks like as we continue to build a sustainable marketplace. While emerging technologies such as AI will be covered, this theme is also relevant to non-tech advancements.

iGaming

From the latest technological advancements to understanding current consumer trends, this theme examines how iGaming, both online casino and online sports betting, is enhancing the gaming experience in the interactive space, what’s the best way to stay ahead of the competition, and where the greatest opportunities exist.

Investments

Offering perspectives from across the financial and investment industry, this theme will tap into the influences of VCs and new verticals from around the world focused on gaming.

Payments

This theme will dive into the world of payments. Learn about how digital payments, cryptocurrencies, and new technologies and how they are modernizing the payments landscape, whether that's digitally or directly on the casino floor.

Regulation

The ever-changing regulatory landscape can be hard to navigate. This theme will focus on building effective compliance regimes, emerging risks, and the impact of new technology on gaming compliance programs for all facets of the gaming industry (land-based, online, customer verification, payments, and more).

Responsible Gambling

Explore responsible gambling in today’s marketplace. Dive into player protection, and uncover new strategies operators use to navigate challenges within this theme.

Sports Betting

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Submissions require a title, short description, and proposed speakers that fit in a 30–45-minute session. You are able to submit
individual presentations, panels, fireside chats, case studies, or other unique session styles.
Session ideas should align with the 2024 G2E education themes.
Speakers must only provide educational and thought-leading content. Company product pitches are not allowed and
will be rejected.
Proposals will be reviewed by the G2E Education Advisory Committee for relevance, innovation, and diversity.
